Since the golden ratio is usually exhibited in nature, I decided to design a puffin, a cute little penguin-like bird that resides mainly in Iceland. First, I set a mood board and checked real-life references and the environment that surrounds the subject.

After sketching using reference photos, I used the golden ratio circles to draw the first draft. Here’s the result.
